Hawraa Ali Najeeb is an Iraqi Mechatronics Engineer and postgraduate researcher with an academic background in Electronic Systems Design Engineering, artificial intelligence, computer vision, IoT, embedded systems, robotics, and smart assistive technologies. Her MSc research at Universiti Sains Malaysia focused on developing a real-time smart assistive technology system for individuals with severe motor impairments using computer vision, eye-gesture recognition, and embedded device control. She is interested in assistive AI, smart healthcare technologies, human-computer interaction, and real-time vision-based control systems. As an ICSC Ambassador, she aims to encourage students in Iraq to explore computer science, programming, logical thinking, and problem-solving. She hopes to promote ICSC through student communities, social media, online information sessions, and simple introductory workshops that help students build confidence and discover international opportunities in computer science.
